About Nightingale

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game that can be played solo or cooperatively with friends. In the game, players build, craft, fight, and explore as they venture through mystical portals into a variety of unique and fantastical realms. The game is set in a rich gaslamp Victorian fantasy setting.

The game will be released in Early Access on February 20, 2024.

When will Nightingale launch?

Nightingale will launch into Early Access on February 20, 2024.

How do I participate in alpha/beta tests?

We don't have any more planned alpha/beta tests, next is the Early Access launch!

Is Nightingale singleplayer or multiplayer?

You can play Nightingale solo or with friends with up to 6 people in a party.

What platforms is Nightingale playable on?

Nightingale is currently PC only.

Will Nightingale work on Steamdeck?

We're still confirming the details for this one, sorry!

Is Nightingale played in first-person mode only?

Nightingale started off in first-person only mode and that continues to be the default mode of the game. As of July 2023, based on player feedback, we introduced a third-person mode to the game. It will be available at launch, but is still a little experimental.

What languages will Nightingale be available in at early access launch?

Currently the game is in English only, but it we're planning to have EFIGS (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) for the early access launch.

What are Realm Cards?

Realm Cards are the main way Realmwalkers open the portal network. They will be able to craft them based on materials they find in the environment and will be able to affect several things in the Realm they travel to. How much will Nightingale cost?

Nightingale will launch at $29.99 USD.

Will there be microtransations?

We won’t lock progression or gameplay behind paywalls/microtransactions. There may be cosmetic purchases but we’re still figuring that out and will have more details closer to the Early Access launch.

Will I be able to play Nightingale with a controller?

There will be partial controller support at launch. Most menu and in-game actions, can be accessed via game controllers. Party text chat will require keyboard and mouse.

Will there be dedicated servers?

Will you support community mods?
